Fenerbahçe draw as Arsenal fail to mark
Another Champions League night has just passed. Now, you should know that I’m a great Fenerbahçe fan. In fact my whole family is: my brother, my father, my grandfather, my uncles … so it couldn’t have possibly come any other way than me supporting Fenerbahçe :-))
Well, I should have liked to start my football posts with a tremendous Fenerbahçe win. But not so just for now. After a rather disappointing start to this year’s Champions League season with only one point gathered in three matches, Fenerbahçe managed to draw 0-0 against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
Unfortunately, I never once believed in a possible win during the whole of the 90 minutes, so it has not been a match that exciting to watch. For sure far away from the breathtaking course of last season. Arsenal were clearly the domineering side, but as Fenerbahçe were standing tight in the defense, they failed to mark in the end. A rather boring match for non-supporters of either side.

© Getty ImagesAn interesting remark: none of the side did manage to get the upper hand, but some 3,000 Fenerbahçe fans made a lot more noise than the 57,000 Arsenal supporters. Nowhere in Europe you can find a crowd as crazy and vivacious as Fenerbahçe supporters!
