The legend continues …

A new page in the Fenerbahçe - Galatasaray chapter of Turkish football was written at the Şükrü Saracoğlu Stadium last Sunday. And many had already guessed how the story would end. Fenerbahçe, all-victorious against Galatasaray at home ground since 1999 (cf. A Kadıköy classic: Fenerbahçe 4-1 Galatasaray), have once again decided the match for their side with a 3-1 win (goals by Alex 12’, 53’ and Guȉza 90’). Galatasaray, undoubtedly paralysed by the self-made pressure, were unable to pose any real danger for Fenerbahçe.

Unbeaten since 1999 … the legend continues.
